Lenten Soup Suppers are Back

Every Wednesday in Lent in McMullen Hall at 6 p.m.

Every Wednesday in Lent, we will gather in McMullen Hall at 6 p.m. for all-ages prayer, and intergenerational sharing groups on the theme of "letting go." These evenings will be in-person only (no Zoom option).

Below you will find a devotional to support your daily journey of "letting go" during Lent. Letting go is a way of accepting our losses and moving through the grief of these past few years toward the new life of Easter.

There will be candles and readings for the kids, and an opportunity to join the adults for sharing circles or play in the new Mac Hall stage space.

Living Well through Lent 2022: Letting Go with All Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind is a daily devotional produced by the progressive Christian wellness foundation Living Compass.

There are four easy ways to get your copy of the Lenten devotional used by our community this year:

  • Pick up a free printed booklet at church on Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings during Lent. You can also email office@holladayucc.org to request a hard copy.

  • Sign up to receive the day's devotional entry emailed to you every day.

  • Purchase an e-copy formatted for your Kindle device for $1.

  • Download the free PDF to read on your computer:

Wishing you a blessed Lent!
