A New Earth: Moving From Sorrow to Joy

Youth Group Writes a "Group Poem" for Earth Day 2021

Roses are red, violets are blue

Why did you leave me, my furry friend?

Roses are red, polar bears are dead

But I love squids

When I get a new puppy,

I forget everything bad thing that has happened in the past

The air is polluted,

But we can do things to pollute less

Hard times burden the sky,

The wind crying soft songs to red cherries

COVID is deadly and has killed many,

But the vaccine is out

So there's no reason to pout

All this is a warning,

About global warming

Unless we start caring about our earth,

It will turn into a fiery hearth

The butterflies and dragonflies

Bring blessings to the grain,

And sakura (cherry blossoms)

Bring kind words to our lives
